Day 1B chip leader: Chris Trapani


Chris Trapani, Marko Trapani's son, ended Day 1B with 197,900 in chips.  In the photo above, tournament director Matt Savage verifies the count before awarding him the $10,000 prize for being the end of day chip leader.  Chris will join the rest of the field tomorrow for Day 2 at 10am as the overall tournament leader.

Day 1B - first break

The players in Day 1B are now on their first 15 minute break of the day.  The board says that 254 players have registered so far, bringing the 2 day total to 396 players so far.  Again, registration is open until 2:30pm today.

The Shooting Star bounties are now getting their pictures taken, and we will have a full list of today's bounties up shortly.

Don't forget that our live stream is running, and the table has been filled with Shane "Shaniac" Schleger, Adam "Roothlus" Levy, and Pat Lyons.  Seat 5 is still open, and the rail is anxious to see who the bounty on the featured table will be.

Day 1B about to begin

The scene is very similar to yesterday, except there are more players in the building.  Yesterday's 142 total players is already eclipsed by the 230 players signed up for today, and registration is open until 2:30pm.  Tournament director Matt Savage is making the morning announcements before getting started as pros like Vanessa Selbst and Kathy Liebert are entering the tournament floor.  Our live stream is now up and running, so click on "Watch LIVE Video" to find out which name bounty player will be joining us in the 5 seat.
