Steve Brecher was born in San Diego and grew up in Queens, NY. A retired software engineer, Steve has become an accomplished poker player. He has 13 WPT Main Event cashes, including the 2008 Bay 101 Shooting Star WPT Main Event title. Steve finished sixth in the 2004 WPT World Championship Main Event, and he finished third in the 2005 United States Poker Championship.
