Day 1B chip leader: Chris Trapani
Chris Trapani, Marko Trapani's son, ended Day 1B with 197,900 in chips. In the photo above, tournament director Matt Savage verifies the count before awarding him the $10,000 prize for being the end of day chip leader. Chris will join the rest of the field tomorrow for Day 2 at 10am as the overall tournament leader.

Day 1B about to begin
The scene is very similar to yesterday, except there are more players in the building. Yesterday's 142 total players is already eclipsed by the 230 players signed up for today, and registration is open until 2:30pm. Tournament director Matt Savage is making the morning announcements before getting started as pros like Vanessa Selbst and Kathy Liebert are entering the tournament floor.
