After a raise by David Fong, Pat Lyons moved all in with pocket eights and David called with ace king.  Pat had David covered, but David was lucky when he rivered a king to survive.

On the very next hand, Pat put his remaining 34,000 in the pot after David Peters moved all in for more.  Pat was ahead with [As][Qd] against David's [Ad][3c].  No three appeared and Pat doubled up, crippling David Peters down to 43,000.
